The Elaine Jones Team loves Acton, Ontario! Acton is a community in the Town of Halton Hills and is a part of the Region of Halton. Located on the outer edge of the Greater Toronto Area, Acton’s one of two of the primary population centres of the Town of Halton Hills.
Halton Hills has a total population of 62,951 from Census 2021. It sits on the banks of the Credit River, approximately 60 kilometers west of Toronto. Acton’s known for its mill pond, named “Fairy Lake” which surrounds Prospect Park. The 14 acres have served as the town park and fairgrounds since 1889!
Fun Fact: Fairy Lake is man-made lake! It’s shallow and home to number of fishes. It is also a bird sanctuary, so if you are looking for a quiet place to swim or fish, look no further than Fairy Lake!
